The Great Up North Vacation of 2009
I've found it difficult to find time to write over the past couple of weeks as I've ramped up my work hours in preparation of a vacation to the north shore of Lake Superior. Hopefully there will be plenty of time to stockpile entries as I attempt to relax and forget about all of the chaos, conflict, and deadlines that come with work life. Upon starting this blog, I intended to only cover activities and items of interest happening within the borders of Minneapolis. This is still the intent. However, I feel this post is justified in that to be a true Minneapolitan (or for that matter resident of the Minneapolis/Craptown metro area), you need to have at least two cabin related vacations per year. This is a time honored tradition of my in-law family, and while we do the same things "up north" every year, it never fails to be relaxing.
